What’s on offer:
Hourly Rate: £12.71 plus holiday pay calculated at 15.55% (equivalent of 35 days paid leave per year)
Duration: Fixed Term Contract until 4th July 2026 (subject to a 6-month probationary period), working throughout the academic year 2025/2026.

Location: Warwick Students’ Union, Coventry, with some flexibility for remote working.

What’s the role?
As Digital Support Assistant, you will have responsibility for a variety of activities from adding pages, events, and news articles to the SU websites, to updating our other Digital Applications and creating email templates.
With no two days the same, you’ll support our Digital Applications Manager, and the wider Communications and Marketing team in delivering digital communications to the students of Warwick
This is a great role for someone looking to gain digital comms experience, and a fantastic opportunity for the right person to really make a difference.

Who are you?
You’ll be an enthusiastic and reliable person with a positive approach to work in this interesting and varied role. Your strengths will be your passion for digital communications, along with your efficiency, and excellent organisational skills. You will have working knowledge and experience of using HTML 5, CSS3 and jQuery.
It’s essential that you have knowledge of any scripting language (like PHP), and that you have awareness of UI/UX best practices. You will also have experience in uploading content and data using website CMS, and be proficient with Microsoft Office.
You’ll be a quick learner, a logical thinker and be able to process and interpret information in a timely manner. You’ll be motivated, passionate about your work and have a commitment to delivering a great service for Warwick students. But above all, you’ll come to work ready to make an impact, excited about working in an environment where you will be encouraged to contribute ideas, be part of a team and make a difference.
