Location: Drovers House - Rugby

Contract Type: Zero hour

Closing Date: 14 April 2026

Overview:

As our carer, you’ll live and breathe our WCS values by helping to make every day well lived for our residents, meeting their needs in line with our ambition and model of care.

No two days are ever the same, as you will build respectful, caring relationships with residents living with different conditions and support them in a variety of ways, from their personal care to helping them with their social and active engagements.

WCS Care is a registered charity and care home provider with 13 homes in Warwickshire. Eleven of our homes provide residential care for older people and people living with dementia and two of our homes provide care for adults with physical disabilities and lifelong conditions.

As a member of our care team at WCS, you’ll have the ability to get to know different residents and teams quickly and communicate with a wide range of people confidently.

We think our care team are heroes – in fact, we put it on their fleeces. They bring compassion, patience and love to their work. Whilst there are core elements of the work that everyone needs to do, we support our team members to bring the best of themselves, and their interests and passions, to work.

So although your main role will be to support the daily lives of our residents and help them with their personal care - if you like sport, you could run a sports club. If you're interested in local history, you could create a local history guide for residents, capturing their stories too.

We have a great range of training and development opportunities for our carers – there’s on the job development, e-learning, classroom-based training and our management college.
