About the role and person:

As a Project Manager on the One Accent Transformation programme, you’ll play a key role in overseeing the planning, implementation, and execution of priority projects, particularly as we transition to cloud-based technologies such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud. You’ll utilise your engagement skills to work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders and external partners to ensure that data migration and cloud-based projects are delivered on time, meeting defined objectives within budget, using agreed project governance. You’ll also coach colleagues who are delivering projects and ensure your outputs contribute to the overall success of our transformational initiatives. This is a great opportunity to use your skills to move Accent into a position with data stewards and true data management and control which will help us to proactively create moments that matter for our customers.

Salary

The spot salary for this post is £61,370 per annum for applicants who fully meet the requirements of the post. Applicants, who do not meet all the requirements of the post, will start 5% or 10% below the spot salary.

What skills/behaviours do you need to be a Project Manager?

  • Experience of project management in data projects with Azure, AMS or Google Cloud
  • Experience of managing cross-functional, large-scale projects using project management methodologies and applying the governing principles.
  • Proven experience of implementing change management, including having delivered training, driven adoption and closed out projects to bring colleagues on the journey from on premise to cloud technology.
  • Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management and building collaborative relationships, including strong influencing skills with ability to gain buy-in from challenging stakeholders.
  • Experience delivering presentations to colleagues of all levels with proven ability to effectively communicate complex and/or technical information to both technical and nontechnical audiences.

Location

The successful candidate will be required to live within a commutable distance to either our Bradford or Peterborough office and be willing to travel to other offices as required. 

We’re a keen promoter of agile working and encourage working from home, as long as we meet our customers’ needs.

We’ll provide you with the equipment and software you’ll need for the purpose of your role however it will be your responsibility to have an appropriate space to work from as well as a suitable broadband connection/provider.
