About the role 

Are you ready to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of governance within a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation? As a Corporate Governance Officer (Boards and Committees), you’ll be at the centre of high-impact decision-making, working closely with our Executive Team, Board Members, and the CEO to ensure our governance processes are not only robust but transformative.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Drive excellence across the Group’s Boards and Committees by delivering high-quality governance support.
  • Facilitate strategic impact by preparing and scrutinising board papers and packs, aligning them with corporate goals and strategic priorities.
  • Champion collaboration by building strong relationships across the business, from Executive Assistants to Senior Leadership, ensuring seamless communication and information flow.
  • Lead with insight by supporting culture change and helping embed governance into the heart of our operations.
  • Stay agile with a flexible working approach, including willingness to travel.

Salary

The spot salary for the Corporate Governance Officer post is £39,360 per annum for applicants who fully meet the requirements of the post. Applicants, who do not meet all the requirements of the post, will start 5% or 10% below the spot salary.  

About you  

  • Proven experience in corporate governance or company secretarial roles.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience in managing meetings, taking minutes, and preparing governance reports.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 and governance software, such as Diligent Boards

A role related assessment and behavioural and scenario-based interview focused on how you apply your knowledge to real-life situations. You'll be asked to complete a Congruity Questionnaire in advance.
Planned date: 19th September at our Bradford office.
