Permanent, 35 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 9am to 5pm.

About the role
It’s an exciting time to join Accent and be a part of our growing Transformation team. As our Portfolio Coordinator you’ll be joining at a time where you can really make your mark, and be right at the centre of initiatives that improve how we work for our colleagues and customers. You will enable consistent portfolio governance, demand management and portfolio reporting by coordinating key activities such as stage gate reviews, governance forums, dependency log coordination and change control administration. Your support will enable continuous improvement in our PMO processes and decision making.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Supporting the entire Business Transformation portfolio, coordinating activity across multiple programmes and projects
- Coordinate governance forums, schedule stage gate reviews and support document readiness
- Support the PMO in the portfolio reporting cycle, collating updates from all PMs/programme leads into consistent dashboards and status summaries
- Support the central portfolio change register administration, ensuring change requests are documented, impact details are gathered, and requests are scheduled for governance forums
- Coordinate and support facilitation of weekly delivery calls across the portfolio, capturing progress, risks, and actions.

Salary
The salary for the PMO Coordinator is £32,755 per annum for applicants who fully meet the requirements of the post. Applicants, who do not meet all the requirements of the post, will start 5% or 10% below the spot salary.
About you
You have the drive and desire to take ownership, be hungry to learn, and be passionate about delivering for our customers. You will own key portfolio management office processes and have the confident to work with a wide range of stakeholders across the business to ensure that risks, issues and dependencies are managed effectively. You’ll also have the confidence to play your part in improving and shaping our processes as we constantly evolve them, so that we can be even more consistent and move further along the APM competency framework.
As a minimum you’ll bring:
- Foundation level Project Management qualification such as PRINCE2 Foundation, APM, PFQ or equivalent
- Experience using portfolio or project management tools such as Outlook, Sharepoint, MS Teams, MS Project, Jira, Power BI or similar
- Previous relevant experience in project, programme, or portfolio coordination
- Proven ability to coordinate multiple projects or programmes in a busy and fast-paced environment
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- A strong communicator with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Comfortable preparing and presenting updates to colleagues at various levels
