About the role
Join us as our Managing Agent Lead and influence behind Accent's partnerships! You'll be at the forefront of managing relationships with third-party management agents, operational partners, and stakeholders, ensuring seamless collaboration and success.
Your role will involve cultivating strong business relationships with commercial landlords and expertly handling business-to-business leases, management agreements, and contracts with third-party management agents and companies.
By professionally overseeing these arrangements, you'll guarantee that Accent and its partners meet all obligations, while building and maintaining positive, professional relationships that propel our business forward. Additionally, you will line manage a colleague, providing guidance and support to ensure team success.
This role is particularly exciting because it's a brand-new position. You'll gather information, put structures and processes in place, and shape the role to make a significant impact. Being at the heart of Accent's strategic partnerships, you'll influence key relationships and drive the success of the organisation. Salary
The spot salary for our Managing Agent Lead post is £52,426 per annum for applicants who fully meet the requirements of the post. Applicants, who do not meet all the requirements of the post, will start 5% or 10% below the spot salary.
About you
To excel in this role, you should have experience working in the Social Housing/Property Management sector and managing contractual relationships with external organizations, demonstrating strong negotiation skills. You should possess comprehensive knowledge of leasehold block management and managing agent operations, with the ability to interpret complex leases. A proactive mentality to seek out relevant information and the ability to work individually are essential. You should be adept at building relationships with third parties and colleagues from scratch and have a strong understanding of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985 sections 18-30, as well as RICS/TPI guidance. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, are crucial, along with the ability to work collaboratively across the organization to achieve its goals.
