About the role 

We’re looking for a Systems Test Analyst who’s passionate about getting things right, open to learning modern techniques, and ready to grow their skills in automation tools such as Selenium.

Whether you’re currently focused on manual testing or just beginning to explore automation, we’ll support you every step of the way. This is a role with real variety, big business impact, and the chance to build your skills in a fast-moving, future-facing team.

As a Systems Test Analyst, you’ll play a critical role in supporting the design and modification of business systems, by facilitating, providing and using quality software testing methodologies, to ensure quality products, that are aligned with specification. You’ll work closely with Project Managers, Business Analysts, Developers and internal users, stakeholders, and third-party suppliers, ensuring that business systems are effectively tested via a combination of manual and automated tests.

Salary

The spot salary for the Systems Test Analyst post is £36,141 per annum for applicants who fully meet the requirements of the post. Applicants, who do not meet all the requirements of the post, will start 5% or 10% below the spot salary.  

About you 

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a similar Software Testing role, ideally within an Agile development environment. You must be adept at creating detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure comprehensive coverage of software functionality. Experience in identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects, and collaborating with developers to resolve issues is essential. Proficiency with bug tracking and test management tools such as Azure DevOps is required. A solid understanding of SQL and relational databases for data testing and validation is necessary. Strong attention to detail is crucial to catch even the smallest bugs that could impact software performance. The ability to dissect complex systems and identify potential issues is a must. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are needed to effectively report test results and collaborate with team members.

Interviews

1st stage interviews will take place on Wednesday 4th June via Teams.

2nd stage interviews will take place on Thursday 12th June at our Bradford office and will involve a technical assessment and final interview.
