Salary: £60,074 per annum
Permanent, 35 hours per week, Monday – Friday 9am to 5pm

About the role
As a Development Manager, you’ll manage new development schemes from inception to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
As a strategic partner with Homes England, we're driving an ambitious programme that spans a variety of development projects, including land-led initiatives and Section 106 schemes.
Our growing team offers flexibility and the chance to engage in the full development lifecycle—from identifying sites and development opportunities to the final handover. You'll work on a diverse range of housing projects, ensuring no two days are the same.

Salary
The spot salary for the Development Manager post is £60,074 per annum for applicants who fully meet the requirements of the post. Applicants, who do not meet all the requirements of the post, will start 5% or 10% below the spot salary.
About you
To thrive in this role, you'll need a CIH Level 3 Certificate in Housing Practice (or an equivalent qualification), or a willingness to work towards it, or be qualified through experience. You should have project management experience, including managing contractors and consultants, and be proficient with project management tools such as Sequel. Strong budget management skills and a focus on cost control are essential. Additionally, you should have knowledge of central and local Government housing policy and its implications for development, familiarity with the contractual aspects of development and asset management processes, and a valid UK driving licence with access to a vehicle.
Development Manager Interviews
1st stage interviews will take place on 19th and 20th May via Teams.
Successful candidates will be required to complete a Congruity Questionnaire prior to their 2nd stage interview.
2nd stage interviews will take place on 3rd and 5th June at our Peterborough office.
