Lead a Team. Change Lives. Grow Your Career.

EveryDay, the social enterprise wholly owned by Age UK North Tyneside, is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Team Leader to join our team at Allerdale on a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover contract.

To ensure a smooth transition, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside the current Team Leader and receive a comprehensive handover before their maternity leave commences in November. This will provide valuable insight into the service, team and residents, helping you feel confident and supported from day one.

Allerdale is a 32-bedroom Extra Care scheme located in Chapel Park, a quiet residential area of Newcastle. Staffed 24 hours a day to provide comfort, reassurance and safety for residents, Allerdale is a welcoming and vibrant community where strong relationships are at the heart of everything we do. Our dedicated team has built fantastic connections with residents, and with regular activities and social events taking place, there's always something happening in the lounge. As Team Leader, you'll have the opportunity to lead within a supportive, close-knit environment where every day brings the chance to make a genuine difference to people's lives.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced care professional ready to take the next step in their career, leading a committed team that puts dignity, independence and person-centred care at the heart of everything it does. You will work closely with the Area Manager and Coordinator to ensure residents receive the high-quality care and support they deserve, whilst supporting and developing your own team of Personal Support Assistants.
