Age UK North Tyneside are looking to recruit a Promoting Independence Co-ordinator to work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams, both internal and external, to ensure the voice of the customer is heard, and coordinating a range of internal and external services and a team of volunteers to support older people to achieve self-set goals related to their wellbeing.
The co-ordinators will meet with older people on a one-to-one basis and carry out a “guided conversation” which is used to draw out the needs and wishes of the customer.
