About the Role
Join our dedicated team at Patching Lodge, a vibrant extra-care housing scheme supporting older adults and individuals with varying care needs, including dementia and physical disabilities.
We are seeking a Female Care Assistant for waking night shifts to provide compassionate, person-centred care and ensure residents feel safe and supported throughout the night.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver personal care and support with dignity and respect
- Monitor residents’ wellbeing and respond promptly to needs
- Assist with medication (after training)
- Maintain accurate records and follow care plans
- Work collaboratively with the day team for smooth handovers
Requirements
- Previous care experience preferred (extra-care or domiciliary an advantage)
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
- Right to Work in the UK
- Ability to work waking nights (not sleep-in)
- Female applicants only (due to personal care requirements)
- Empathy, reliability, and strong communication skills
