We are looking for an Extra Care Supervisor to join our teams in Windmill Place, Thame and Potters/Frys Court, Oxford......
37.5 hours a week hours, Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:00. Plus the on-call rota.
This is a dual-site role, with two days a week in Potters Court in Oxford and three days a week in Windmill Place, Thame.

For this role, you must be experienced within the care sector and hold or be happy to work towards NVQ level 2.
*Drivers License with access to own vehicle essential*
Responsibilities of this role:
- Signing up new clients and liaising with Social Services and/or family members
- Completing client reviews and ensuring our service is running smoothly.
- Creating and maintaining person centered care plans
- Carry out risk assessments within the service user’s home
- Communicate with our care staff regarding our clients’ needs and if any changes occur
- Completing spot checks and face to face supervisions with our care staff and ensuring all concerns, if any, are reported to the Registered Manager
- Compliance sign off / medication competencies for new care staff

Overview:
The Recruitment Lead will lead the organisation’s end-to-end talent acquisition strategy and oversee hiring operations. This is a dedicated leadership position focused exclusively on attracting, assessing and securing top talent.
The successful candidate will work closely with HR to ensure recruitment strategy aligns with broader people initiatives but remains solely accountable for the design, performance and execution of the hiring function.
Key Responsibilities:
· Build and execute a forward-looking recruitment strategy aligned with business growth and workforce planning
· Collaborate with HR on recruitment matters, but maintain independent ownership of all recruitment operations and decisions
· Lead, mentor and scale the recruitment team across our South region, setting performance standards and driving excellence. This includes leading frequent 1:1’s to check on recruiter progress face to face
· Design efficient, data driven hiring processes that improve the speed and quality of the candidate experience
· Advise the senior management team on role scoping, market conditions and hiring strategy
· Champion inclusive hiring practices
· Oversee the ATS and sourcing tools to ensure the team operates efficiently, addressing any issues promptly
· Track market trends, competitor hiring activity, and salary benchmarks
· Own recruitment metrics and present insights during leadership meetings with confidence
· Maintain oversight of recruiter availability, track absence, approve holiday and ensure seamless coverage across different business areas to prevent disruption to hiring pipelines
Required Skills:
- Proven experience leading a recruitment function in a fast-paced environment (at least 2 years)
- Ability to use Microsoft Excel with confidence
- Clean driving license and access to a reliable vehicle
- Ability to forecast hiring needs and build long-term talent strategies
- Strong analytical capability and comfort with recruitment metrics
- Ability to present in from of others and take ownership for results
Preferred but not essential:
- Experience using Access Recruit and Screening
- Background of hiring in the Care sector
The salary for this role is around £40-45k depening on experience.
