Senior Branch Nurse
Ideal Complex Care leading provider of complex care, offering support to people living in their own homes in the community, some independently and some with their family.
We are looking to recruit a Senior Branch Nurse to manage the clinical aspects of the service across primarily East and West Sussex. Reporting to the Operational Manager the successful applicant will be responsible for:
- Overseeing case management for complex care clients, including auditing care plans and risk assessments and reviews.
- Ensuring that clinical policies, procedure and forms are fit for purpose
- Support and supervision of Nurse Supervisors
- Preparing reports for and participating in the monthly Clinical Governance meetings
- Participating in discharge meetings, care reviews and liaison with health professionals
- Participating in on-call escalation rota.
- Seeking new and appropriate services
- Networking with professional colleagues to promote best practice and service standards.
Key criteria for the role will include:
- An active PIN
- Understanding of community- based nursing / case management
- Understanding of CQC requirements for TDDI registrations
- Strong clinical skills
- Disciplined with a strong work ethos
- Team player, with good leadership skills
- Full, current driving licence and use of own car
- Must be based in East Sussex and be prepared to travel extensively in the area
