Officer, Artsmark (Operations) (ARTC74)

Contract: Fixed term maternity cover until 03 October 2025, working 35 hours per week (Arts Council also recognises the benefit of flexible working as a valued part of the way we work, and welcome applications from individuals who require flexibility)

 

Salary: £30,631 per annum plus benefits including a final salary pension scheme, generous annual leave, and flexible and hybrid working. 

 

Location: Leeds (The role will be based in Leeds; however, we are operating a hybrid way of working and support our staff to make use of remote working options when combined with regular on-site contact days with other members of the team, normally 1-2 days a week) 

 

 

Artsmark is Arts Council England’s national schools programme, empowering teachers with the skills they need to embed arts, culture and creativity across the whole curriculum. Schools are celebrated and recognised for their exceptional commitment to creativity with the Artsmark Award, accredited by Arts Council England – the only award for arts and culture provision in schools in England. 

There are two full time Officer roles in the Artsmark team that work together to ensure the smooth running of the programme. While these roles work to the same job description responsibilities are split between operational delivery and programme development.

 

This Artsmark Officer post will support the Artsmark Senior Officer- Operations,  in the day to day running of Artsmark Award including the management of school registrations, assessment processes, reporting and ongoing delivery and training for schools.

 

You will be contributing to the day-to-day delivery of Artsmark Award including managing school registrations, assessment and awards processes, and maintaining and providing information and management data. You will provide information, advice and guidance (both internally and externally) regarding Artsmark Award and oversee the management of the Artsmark inbox. You will ensure appropriate templates and resource materials are available to support schools to develop their arts and cultural offer.
