Introduction:
In September 2024 Arts Council England launched the Culture and Place Data Explorer. This interactive tool is designed to support our partners to understand the impact of our investment and development work in communities across the country. The tool includes regularly updated information on Arts Council England investment, with over 200 other data indicators that tell us more about people and places across the country.
We are seeking a product manager to lead the ongoing management and development of the Culture and Place Data Explorer for 12 months. The role will include leading on stakeholder management around the product, exploring partnership opportunities and day to day monitoring of performance.
The Product Manager will be responsible for engagement with the product internally and externally. This role will take the lead on the evolution of the tool, community management and the opportunity to pro-actively develop the platform to adapt to new opportunities and new place-based data sources.
Role Details:
We are looking for a product manager with an understanding of the cultural sector, stakeholders and funders and how the use of data is integral to place-based working.
The product manager will be able to shape and develop the Culture and Place Data Explorer using feedback from external users and internal teams. This will include considering future partnership opportunities and developing the product as part of the wider suite of data tools available at Ars Council England.
We are seeking a proactive, diligent, methodical individual who can also implement a governance process, facilitate decision making and manage supplier relationships. The role will include internal and external advocacy for the Culture and Place Data Explorer ensuring the product is promoted within cultural, creative and local government networks.
The role will be based within the Places, Engagement and Libraries team, working closely with the Insights and IT team.
