Assistant, Development Initiatives Operation (IC122)
Contract: Permanent, working 35 hours per week (Arts Council also recognises the benefit of flexible working as a valued part of the way we work, and welcome applications from individuals who require flexibility)
Salary: £27,401 per annum plus benefits including a final salary pension scheme, generous annual leave, and flexible and hybrid working.
Location: Manchester or Birmingham (The role will be based at the office base listed; however, we are operating a hybrid way of working and support our staff to make use of remote working options when combined with regular on-site contact days with other members of the team, normally 1-2 days a week)
The Development Initiatives team within the Investment Centre oversees the design and delivery of the Arts Council’s development programmes, including Global Talent Visas, Libraries Development Framework, Museums Accreditation and Collections Designation.
The Development Initiatives Operations team provides advice, reports and services to committees and teams across the organisation, including decision makers, Relationship Managers and Investment Centre teams. The team organises and supports a number of decision meetings and decision making processes. Support is also provided across our external delivery partners and governing bodies.
The team is also responsible for ensuring high quality guidance is available (both internal and external) and that we are responding to the needs of our stakeholders in this area. The team is also responsible for maintaining accurate records and detailed filing systems.
Role Details: The Assistant, Development Initiatives Operations, will be responsible for:
- Supporting the Global Talent Visa team by carrying out key functions, including triaging applications and sharing information with programme partners and decision makers.
- Supporting the Senior Manager Development Initiatives Operations and the wider Development Initiatives Operations team to ensure timely and efficient delivery of our administrative processes.
- Acting as point of contact for the team to provide routine information, advice and guidance on the work and responsibilities of the team.
