Contract: Permanent, working 35 hours per week (Arts Council also recognises the benefit of flexible working as a valued part of the way we work, and welcome applications from individuals who require flexibility)

Location: Based ay any Arts Council’s office (Manchester, Newcastle, Leeds, Birmingham, Nottingham, Cambridge, Brighton or Bristol ) (The role will be based at one of the office base listed; however, we are operating a hybrid way of working and support our staff to make use of remote working options when combined with regular on-site contact days with other members of the team, normally 1-2 days a week) 

The Funding Programmes teams in the Investment Centre lead on the design and delivery of all of the Arts Council’s funding programmes – the Funded Organisations team is one of these.

The Funded Organisations team oversees the Arts Council’s Investment in National Portfolio Organisations (NPOs) and Investment Support Organisations (IPSOs). It is responsible for the design and principles of delivery of these programmes. It also provides guidance materials and advice to colleagues on these programmes.

The Funded Organisations team comprises of two Senior Managers, two Senior Officers, Senior Officer Financial Risk and Analysis, Officer Financial Risk and Analysis, an Officer and an Assistant.

We are looking to recruit an Officer, Funded Organisations.

The principal responsibilities for the Officer, Funded Organisations will include supporting the Senior Managers and Senior Officers in the Funded Organisations team with:

  • the development, design and delivery of the Investment Programme/s for 2026 onwards as required.
  • the delivery of the 2023-26 Investment Programme/s

The Officer, Funded Organisations will work closely with colleagues in other Funding Programmes and Investment Centre teams and with Arts Council Area and national colleagues.
