Location- Birmingham, Brighton, Bristol, Cambridge, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle, Nottingham,
35 hours per week - Fixed term until 31 March 2026
We are looking for a colleague to join us on a short-term basis to cover a secondment until 31 March 2026. The Government Indemnity Scheme Is one of our statutory functions delivered in accordance with Arts Council England’s Agreement with the Department for Culture, Media and Sport.
The role of Officer (Museums and Cultural Property) is primarily to support and progress projects, assess indemnity applications against published guidelines and ensure expert advice is gathered in a timely manner. Working with a small team, the successful candidate is expected to demonstrate that they
- Understand the importance of user focus in service delivery
- Bring a proactive problem-solving ethos to challenges and delays
- Can digest and interpret complex information to take timely decisions
- Are comfortable with change and uncertainty
