8 X Senior Officer, Capital Relationships and Monitoring (COOF56 – COOF63)
Contract: 12-month FTC/ Secondment, working 35 hours per week (Arts Council also recognises the benefit of flexible working as a valued part of the way we work, and welcome applications from individuals who require flexibility)
Salary: £36,987 per annum plus benefits including a final salary pension scheme, generous annual leave, and flexible and hybrid working.
Location: Manchester, Birmingham, Cambridge, Leeds, Newcastle, Bristol or Brighton (The role will be based at any of the offices listed however, we are operating a hybrid way of working and support our staff to make use of remote working options when combined with regular on-site contact days with other members of the team, normally 1-2 days a week)
We are seeking 8 knowledgeable and proactive Senior Officers, Capital Relationships and Monitoring to support the delivery of Arts Council England’s capital investment programmes. These programmes contribute to the outcomes of Let’s Create by investing in the infrastructure and sustainability of creative and cultural organisations across England.
You will work closely with arts organisations, museums, and libraries, providing advice throughout their funding journey, assessing applications, and monitoring awarded grants to ensure compliance, manage risk, and track delivery against outcomes. You will build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including local authorities, government representatives, and sector specialists, helping to raise awareness of our capital investment opportunities.
Using your sector expertise, you will support the design and delivery of effective monitoring frameworks, deliver user research to inform programme development, and ensure that grant-making processes are aligned with best practice and public service standards. You will use data and digital tools to track impact, identify trends, and manage information in line with data protection requirements.
This is a key role for someone with experience in grant management, stakeholder engagement, and sector knowledge in museums, libraries, or cultural infrastructure.
