Assistant – Museums and Cultural Property MCPF19  

Contract: Fixed Term until 31st March 2025 with the possibility for an extension, working 35 hours per week (Arts Council also recognises the benefit of flexible working as a valued part of the way we work, and welcome applications from individuals who require flexibility)

Location: Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Newcastle (The role will be based at the office base listed; however, we are operating a hybrid way of working and support our staff to make use of remote working options when combined with regular on-site contact days with other members of the team, normally 1-2 days a week)

Role Overview: Join our Museums and Cultural Property team to help with projects, improve processes, manage casework, and create reports. Your work will help us meet our goals and comply with our agreement with Arts Council England and the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport.

Key Responsibilities: You will help manage various projects and find ways to make our work more efficient. You’ll handle casework carefully and prepare reports to support our activities and decisions.

Team Collaboration: You’ll provide flexible support across the team, helping out wherever needed. You’ll bring a positive, problem-solving attitude and work well both with others and on your own.

Adaptability: You’ll thrive in a changing environment, easily adapting to new priorities and challenges.
