Contract: Permanent, working 17.5 hours per week (Arts Council also recognises the benefit of flexible working as a valued part of the way we work, and welcome applications from individuals who require flexibility)

 

Salary: £26,096 (pro rata) per annum plus benefits including a final salary pension scheme, generous annual leave, and flexible and hybrid working. 

 

Location: Bristol, Brighton, Birmingham, Manchester or Leeds (The role will be based at the office base listed; however, we are operating a hybrid way of working and support our staff to make use of remote working options when combined with regular on-site contact days with other members of the team, normally 1-2 days a week) 

 

Arts Council England is seeking to recruit a talented Assistant (Enterprise & Innovation) to join the team in one of our offices. This part-time Assistant role comes with an attractive salary.

As an Assistant (Enterprise & Innovation) you will be providing administrative support to the Business Innovation and Philanthropy team and the Cultural Recovery Loans team.

Some of your primary duties in this Assistant (Enterprise & Innovation) role will include:

  • Servicing and event-managing internal and external business meetings
  • Coordinating administrative processes for the respective teams
  • Collating and distributing agendas and papers
  • Administrative assistance to the directors including liaising with colleagues internally and external contacts to support diary management, booking travel and responding to enquiries as necessary

To apply for this Assistant (Enterprise & Innovation) role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include:

  • Administrative experience in a customer-facing position or equivalent
  • An excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel and Teams and the ability to use various IT systems
  • Be able to prioritise and respond to changing priorities whilst working effectively within a small team
  • The ability to communicate effectively at all levels, including face-to-face and in writing
  • Good digital communication skills for virtual working and, ideally, experience using and creating Excel spreadsheets, CRMs, and grants
