The Product Team
As part of the Business Solutions Team the Product Team are responsible for the alignment between legal service requirements and technology platforms. They work from a human‑centred design perspective making sure that business tools are intuitive and user-friendly. They work with the firms management to help drive the firm’s strategy. The Product Team, drive continuous improvement across workflows, processes and systems, with a strong focus on training and change management so new tools are effectively adopted across the firm.
The Role
Our Product Trainers are responsible for designing and delivering effective blended learning solutions for all in-house systems across Ashtons Legal. This includes maintaining educational materials and resources, maintaining the Business Solutions Training Hub and advertising and arranging all Business Solutions training sessions. You will also support our users with their queries and offering system support to the business.
You will also work alongside the Product Team and Business Solutions Team on firmwide projects as required.
Key responsibilities:
Support
- Work with the IT Helpdesk 3rd party supplier to resolve second line calls which are categorised as a business systems support need.
- Carry out Office visits and assist Users at their Desks with 121 support (when and where appropriate)
Training
- Maintain training content as the business requirements change.
- Ensure that Training Needs Analysis and training feedback is gathered, evaluated and acted on for all
- Advertising and booking of internal courses, including new starter inductions
- Deliver 121 training to appropriate Users, tailoring training courses when needed
Knowledge, skills and experience required
The following are essential to this role:
- You will be required to travel across of our offices in East Anglia, so a driving license and access to own car for business use is essential
- Highly self-motivated and proactive
- A client facing and professional approach to their work
- Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills
- Have a good understanding of business processes
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with technical and non-technical users
- Having excellent IT skills
- Excellent understanding of a service environment with a strong customer service orientation
- Excellent presentation skills
- Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Able to work alone or within a team
- Possess high attention to detail
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Desirable skills:
- Systems Training delivery experience
- Experience of working in the Legal sector
