We are looking for a Bar Manager in our skyline bar, Bar 49 in one of Lincolnshire’s top holiday destinations. The venue boasts breath-taking views across our water-ski lake. Our goal is to celebrate the local area and Lincolnshire as a county through our beverage offering, a selection of hand-crafted cocktails and magical milkshakes will feature on the menu. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a genuine passion for cocktails and delivering a first-class bar service

Nestled in the stunning Lincolnshire countryside, Tattershall Lakes is a 400-acre lakeside paradise bursting with life and adventure. What you’ll be doing 

Working as part of our team of Holiday Heroes, you will be supporting the Commercial Manager and making sure that our guests experience the possible time with us. This includes: 

• Leading, training and motivating a team to deliver delight.
• Oversee the smooth running of the bar, the preparation for service, as well as overseeing service and supervising the after-service duties.
• Working alongside the team in a fast paced, high-volume venue with a constant eye on delivering world class service.
• Driving revenue through service and sales whilst having an eye on profitable growth, delivered with care and flair.
• Controlling margin through careful stock management and stock reconciliation through weekly stocktakes.
• Keeping up to date with all Licencing, H&S and internal processes and procedures. 

One more thing…holidays happen at holiday times and eating, and drinking goes on in into the night, so you’ll need to work your magic on bank holidays, evenings and weekends too. 

Skills, experience, and qualities you’ll need 

We have high standards! We’ll train you up, but you must: 

• Have previous experience in hand-crafted cocktail making
• Have previous management experience in a wet led F&B environment
• Have excellent knowledge of industry trends
• Show evidence of your superb people management skills
• Have an eye for detail, a head for business and a mindset for innovation
• Know your profit and loss from your balance sheet and be able to control costs and grow profit
• Have knowledge and experience of catering and its many challenges
• Have energy, enthusiasm and a positive attitude

Nice to have but not essential 

It would be great if you tick some of these boxes too (but we won’t hold it against you if you don’t). 

• Experience of working in the holiday sector 
• Prior experience of running a wet led venue
