What we need, in a nutshell:

This is an exciting new role where you you’ll drive scalable, profitable growth across Away Resorts through paid and owned channels.  You’ll own the performance engine—connecting paid media, affiliates and owned social into one integrated growth strategy that delivers acquisition, engagement and conversion.

You’ll lead social end-to-end, bringing paid and organic together into a single, high-impact channel that builds brand, grows audiences and drives measurable commercial results.  This is a hands-on role that blends technical depth, creative optimisation and commercial sharpness, working closely with internal teams, parks and agency partners to deliver growth at pace.

Who are we?

We are a dynamic and growing company, shaking up the Great British holiday. With 27 amazing UK resorts, we pull out all the stops and add the bells and whistles to give our guests the holiday of a lifetime.

What you’ll be doing:

If you can match the skills, experience and qualities listed below, we’d love to hear from you:

  • Own and deliver the performance & growth strategy across paid media, affiliates, influencers and owned social—driving scalable, profitable growth
  • Accountable for revenue, efficiency and commercial performance across holidays and holiday home sales
  • Lead paid media across search, social, display and programmatic, optimising for CPA, ROAS and demand growth
  • Turn brand and product narratives into high-performing, conversion-led campaigns
  • Build and scale full-funnel test-and-learn activity to improve performance and unlock growth
  • Identify, test and scale new channels through structured experimentation and insight-led decision making
  • Own owned social strategy, ensuring paid and organic work as one joined-up performance engine
  • Drive audience growth, engagement and conversion across all social platforms
  • Lead affiliate and partnerships strategy, delivering incremental, high-quality revenue growth
  • Recruit, manage and optimise affiliate partners to maximise reach and efficiency
  • Own performance reporting, insights and dashboards—driving clear action from data
  • Manage budgets, forecasting and optimisation to ensure strong ROI and disciplined investment
  • Set strong test-and-learn frameworks with clear KPIs across all channels
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, with clear agency governance and ways of working
  • Work cross-functionally with brand, CRM, digital, revenue and product teams to improve conversion and customer journeys
  • Stay ahead of platform changes, trends and innovation to keep performance marketing sharp and competitive
  • Act as a senior growth voice within the marketing team, influencing wider strategy and decisions

Skills, experience and qualities you’ll need:

  • 5+ years’ senior marketing experience in a performance, growth or digital acquisition role
  • Strong background across paid media (search, social, display and programmatic)
  • Deep expertise in paid acquisition, creative testing and influencer marketing
  • Strong understanding of attribution, experimentation and scaling performance efficiently
  • Experience managing affiliate programmes and partnership channels
  • Proven ability to balance performance marketing with long-term brand building
  • Highly analytical, with a strong strategic mindset and ability to make decisions in ambiguity
  • Confident managing budgets, forecasting and driving commercial accountability
  • Strong cross-functional operator, comfortable working with brand, CRM, product and commercial teams
  • Hands-on experience with Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager and other key ad platforms
  • Strong proficiency in analytics and reporting tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Looker Studio or similar)

It’s the icing on the cake, but not essential if you have experience in the leisure and hospitality sector.

It’s about your values too. We have a can-do, people-centred ethos at Away Resorts, and we look for certain qualities in our team members. Have a read about it and see if you fit the bill.
