Role: Regional Senior People Partner

Job Type: Full-time, Fixed Term Maternity Cover (12 months)

Location: Remote with regular travel to parks in the Northern Region

What we need, in a nutshell

We are looking for an experienced Regional People Partner to support our Northern Region during a 12-month maternity cover.

Working closely with the Head of People Partnering, Regional Operations Directors, and General Managers, you will act as a trusted partner to operational leaders, helping them bring our People strategy to life across their parks.

You will play a key role in strengthening leadership capability, guiding workforce planning, and ensuring our People practices create positive experiences for our teams while supporting strong operational performance.

From advising on complex employee relations matters to supporting leaders with engagement, development, and retention, you will provide pragmatic People expertise that helps our parks and our people thrive.

This role suits someone who is comfortable operating in a fast-paced, multi-site environment and who enjoys balancing commercial priorities with a genuinely people-focused approach.

What you’ll be doing

As Regional People Partner, you will:

  • Partner with the Head of People Partnering and Regional Operations Director to embed our People strategy across the Northern Region
  • Support operational leaders with workforce planning, recruitment, engagement, and retention initiatives
  • Provide expert guidance on employee relations matters, helping leaders navigate complex situations with confidence and fairness
  • Coach and develop leaders to strengthen people management capability across the parks
  • Champion reward and recognition initiatives that help build motivated and engaged teams
  • Support succession planning and talent development to ensure key roles are future ready
  • Use insight and feedback to help continuously improve our People initiatives and practices
  • Work closely with General Managers to create a positive, supportive culture where teams feel valued and able to grow

Skills, experience, and qualities you’ll need

  • Experience operating as a People Partner or senior HR professional in a regional or multi-site environment
  • Strong experience supporting leaders with complex employee relations matters
  • Ability to translate People strategy into practical action within operational teams
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with confidence partnering and influencing senior operational leaders
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to balance people priorities with operational outcomes
  • A pragmatic, solutions-focused approach with the ability to communicate clearly and simply
  • CIPD qualified 
  • Experience within leisure, hospitality, or retail is beneficial, though not essential
