Golf Shop Assistant

Location: Piperdam Leisure Resort, Dundee, DD2 5LP, Nr Birkhill 

Hours: Variable - some evenings & weekends required

Salary:  £12.21 per hour

What we need in a nutshell 

We need you to be the person who delivers delight when our guests are visiting our golf shop by providing first class service, ensuring it is welcoming, pristine and safe.

What you will be doing

You will assist in the running of the onsite shop. This includes;

• providing excellence in customer service to our guests
• accurate cash control, including daily cash procedures 
• maintaining shop standards to a high level whilst adhering to health & safety procedures

What you'll also be doing, is being incredibly friendly, answering guests' questions and making sure that everyone is having a great time. You want to be remembered by the guests as being one of the outstanding heroes of their holiday.

One more thing…holidays happen at holiday times, so you’ll need to work your magic on bank holidays, evenings and weekends too.

Skills, experience and qualities you'll need

There's lots of training on offer but you will need:

• Experience in a similar role within retail
• A genuine interest and knowledge of all things golf
• An eye for detail
• The ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• To be a natural born leader and a role model, someone to look up to.
• Willingness to learn and share your knowledge with others.
• MUST be 18+ with a valid driving licence
