Spa Therapist

Location: Piperdam Leisure Resort 

Hours of work: 32 hours per week - Fixed Term Contract 

Salary: £12.75 per hour (10% commission on all products)

What you’ll be doing

As a Spa Therapist, you'll be providing a range of high-quality treatments to our guests, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction. You'll maintain a clean and organised treatment environment and provide personalised advice on aftercare and retail products. You'll be part of a supportive team focused on delivering exceptional service.

Key responsibilities include:

• Perform a range of spa treatments, including massages, facials, and body treatments, to the highest standards.
• Provide personalised consultations to understand guest needs and preferences.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic treatment environment.
• Provide expert advice on aftercare and recommend suitable retail products.
• Achieve retail targets set by the spa manager
• Ensure a positive and relaxing experience for all guests.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene protocols.
• Maintain accurate treatment records.

One more thing…holidays happen at holiday times so you’ll need to work your magic on bank holidays and weekends too.

Skills, experience and qualities you’ll need

We aim to deliver delight to our guests and to do this, you will need to demonstrate the following:

• Level 3 in Beauty Therapy or equivalent, with experience in Massage, Facials, and Body treatments.
• A passion for wellness and delivering exceptional customer service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Knowledge of spa treatments, therapies, and wellness trends.
• A strong understanding of health, safety, and hygiene regulations within a spa environment.
• Experience with ELEMIS and Dermalogica products is advantageous, but training will be provided.

It’s advantageous if you have worked with ELEMIS and Dermalogica but if you haven’t, we provide training.
