Digital Marketing Executive

What we need in a nutshell

We are looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Executive to join our growing and fast-paced business.

What you’ll be doing

Reporting to our Digital Marketing Manager, this exciting role will require you to inspire, engage and delight our Away Resorts customers. Working in a fast-paced marketing environment you will be at the forefront of updating and creation of content our website and App. You will be:

  • Supporting paid acquisition channels including Affiliates, SEO, PPC, Paid Social and Display
  • Content updates to the Away Resorts websites and App
  • Creation of new content and pages within the Away Resorts websites
  • Supporting with the delivery of the Development Roadmap
  • Writing engaging blog articles
  • Working with internal teams to create campaigns
  • Working with internal designer on campaign artwork
  • Supporting the digital team on A/B testing and optimisation of the websites
  • Support with the delivery of the quarterly marketing plans

As part of the central marketing team, you will be providing the creativity and back-up that allows the magic to happen.

Skills, experience and qualities you’ll need

If you are creative, build great relationships with people, and you love the travel industry, then this could be the role for you. Can you demonstrate the following? If so, we’d love to hear from you:

  • At least 2 years marketing experience at this level
  • Professional marketing qualification would be an advantage
  • Good Verbal and written communication
  • Good copywriting skills
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Creative ability and the energy and enthusiasm to deal with fast paced campaigns
  • The ability to work to deadlines
  • Self-confidence to sell ideas to the wider team and in briefing agencies
  • Experience using tools like Photoshop an advantage
