Food and Beverage Assistant Manager - Bar 49

Location: Tattershall Lakes Country park, Lincolnshire

Salary: £20,000

Job type: Full Time – Permanent

What you’ll be doing

  • Support the Food and Beverage Manager in managing the operation of the venue including the development and growth of people, sales and profits.
  • Motivate and inspire your team through a genuine passion for hospitality.
  • Manage the bar and restaurant in accordance with established company standards, policies and procedures.
  • Drive sales by ensuring guest satisfaction and implement a high level of superior guest service.
  • Maximise profits by controlling food & beverage and labour costs.
  • Deliver a level of service that is market leading and delivers delight to our guests.
  • The role of Assistant F&B Manager is designed to be a steppingstone into F&B Management and beyond.

And who knows what else you may find yourself doing. If you’re happy to help even when it’s ‘not your job,’ you’re our sort of person.

One more thing…holidays happen at holiday times and eating, and drinking goes on in into the night, so you’ll need to work your magic on bank holidays, evenings and weekends too.

Skills, experience, and qualities you’ll need.

We have high standards! We’ll train you up, but you must:

  • Experience of a similar role in food & beverage
  • Ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Experienced at leading, motivating and inspiring a large team.
  • Relish the fast pace of a busy bar or restaurant.
  • Be a people person; easy to talk to and never happy until your guests are.
  • Can be proactive in growing revenue and delivering our guest experience.

It’s about your values too. We have a can-do, fun loving, people centred ethos here at Away Resorts, which is captured by our holiday heroes’ mantra of Attentive Amazing Lovers – if that’s fired up your curiosity, have a read about it here and decide if it describes you.

Nice to have but not essential.

It would be great if you tick some of these boxes too (but we won’t hold it against you if you don’t).

  • Previous Holiday Park Experience
  • Level 2 Food Safety and hygiene certificate
  • BIIAB Level 2 award for personal licence holders

What we can offer you

Enjoy some great benefits, including:

  • Training & development
  • Personalised uniform
  • Regular incentives and rewards
  • Discounted holidays across all our parks
