We're now on the lookout for an outstanding General Manager to take the reins at Swanage Bay View Holiday Park. You’ll not only oversee the day-to-day operations but also drive our owner sales strategy and nurture long-lasting relationships with our community of holiday homeowners.

What You’ll Be Doing
As General Manager, you’ll be leading the charge in two key areas—park operations and holiday home sales:

  • Inspire, manage, and develop your team of Holiday Heroes to deliver delight across every guest and owner interaction
  • Drive commercial performance by delivering park EBITDA and profit targets, managing budgets, controlling costs, and identifying new revenue opportunities
  • Oversee the full holiday home sales cycle, from lead generation to after-sales care, ensuring owners feel valued and supported throughout their journey
  • Build strong, personal relationships with owners through welcome events, forums, and regular communication
  • Ensure that all operational standards meet company policies, including health & safety, licensing, and food safety regulations
  • Collaborate across departments to deliver a seamless, high-quality guest and owner experience

Skills, experience and qualities you’ll need

  • Proven experience in a leadership role such as General Manager, Operations Manager, Guest Experience Manager, or Commercial Manager within a hospitality or holiday park setting
  • A background that includes sales management, ideally with exposure to high-value purchases such as holiday homes or leisure investments
  • A commercially astute mindset with a track record of delivering financial results and managing capital projects
  • Excellent leadership and coaching skills with the ability to bring out the best in your team
  • Change management experience and an adaptable, hands-on approach
  • A warm, guest-focused attitude and strong communication skills
