We are looking for an experienced IT project Manager to manage the implementation and processes in delivering IT business change within Central Support and our park locations at Away Resorts. To ensure that good project delivery, governance, controls and methods are followed to achieve business growth and development objectives. The role will include supporting teams from all areas of the business and third-party stakeholders to lead project delivery, managing risks, issues, dependencies and escalations as needed. Supporting the business in creating business cases, triaging and seeking approval of new projects. The role will include helping the organisation improve its project management and delivery capabilities such as maturing the new portfolio management concepts.

What you’ll be doing:
- Deliver a broad portfolio of IT and business change projects - including infrastructure, cybersecurity, software applications, business development initiatives and efficiency projects.
- Defining, maintaining and continually improving the development of the existing project management methodology.
- Lead multi-site delivery with structured governance, financial control, and outcome measurement.
- Maintaining all project management documentation.
- Chairing project management meetings and updates.
- Ensuring the successful transition of development projects into the operational environment.
- Own project budgets, tracking spend, time, scope and quality across all deliverables.
- Present project updates and reporting to the Executive and Senior Leadership team.
- Support project pipeline planning and timely submissions
- Collaborate across functions and manage third parties through matrix relationships
- Develop project management capability and improve delivery frameworks across the business
- Reporting on project progress, issues, change, risk, timescales, and financial performance.
Skills, experience, and qualities you’ll need:
- At least 3 years relevant Project Management experience implementing a range of different projects including infrastructure, cybersecurity, software applications, business development initiatives and efficiency projects.
- Experience of implementing appropriate Project Management processes and procedures. Developing and influencing project management capability.
- A proven and quantifiable track record of delivering well executed, managed and cost-effective projects.
- A commercially focused attitude and ability to build and maintain relationships with Central Support, operations, and suppliers.
- A flexible approach to work to ensure that the job gets done.
- Strong communication and organisational skills, the ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects and varied workload.
- Experience of a range of change initiatives with involvement in delivering the changes within a functional unit.
- Strong project experience in IT systems background around business applications (including Payroll, ERP, Financials, commercial and operational domains).
- Use recognised Project Management tools and techniques (PRINCE2, Agile frameworks).
- Full experience of Project Lifecycle management using a recognised framework
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proactive – working well in a team and can use own initiative
- Excellent communicator at all levels
