Chip Shop Delivery Driver

We are now recruiting for our 2026 season on our beautiful Lincolnshire based holiday park, join our large team of hospitality professionals today.

Location: Tattershall Lakes Country Park, Lincolnshire

Salary: £12.71

Job type: Seasonal

About the role

We are looking for a delivery driver from award-winning fish and chip shop to accommodation on park.  You’ll be a key part of our team, helping to deliver delicious takeaway meals for our owners and guests.

Catch 22, launched in 2022 as our first-ever fish and chip shop, is a standout venue delivering fresh, sustainable, and delicious takeaway meals to our owners and guests. As part of our dynamic team, you’ll play a key role in delivering one of the UK's favourite dishes in an energetic, fast-paced environment.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic team member with a can-do attitude, strong attention to detail, and excellent people skills. A passion for great food and customer service is essential, and you must be available to work evenings, weekends, school holidays and bank holidays.

What you will be doing

We need someone who understands that a first-class guest experience is an essential part of their stay at Tattershall Lakes. Whilst delivering consistency and quality in a fast-paced, retail catering environment. Here are some of the things you will be doing:

  • Delivering food orders safely and efficiently to guests across the holiday park.
  • Check all orders are complete, accurate and presented to a high standard before leaving the chip shop.
  • Provide a warm and friendly service, creating a positive experience for every guest.
  • Maintain communication with the kitchen and front-of-house team regarding delivery times and any guest queries.
  • Keep delivery vehicles, bikes or equipment clean, safe and in good working order.
  • Follow all health and safety, food hygiene and driving regulations.
  • Report any maintenance issues, accidents or incidents promptly.
  • Assist with basic front-of-house duties during quieter periods, including packing orders, cleaning and stock replenishment.
  • Support the wider Food & Beverage team as required.

And who knows what else you may find yourself doing. If you are happy to help even when it is ‘not your job,’ you are our sort of person.

Skills, experience, and qualities you will need

We have high standards! We will train you up, but you must:

  • A full, valid UK driving licence
  • Must be over 21 due to business insurance
  • A friendly, positive attitude with excellent customer service skills.
  • Good knowledge of the holiday park layout or willingness to learn quickly.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

It’s about your values too. We have a can-do, fun loving, people centred ethos here at Away Resorts, which is captured by our holiday heroes’ mantra of Attentive Amazing Lovers – if that’s fired up your curiosity, have a read about it here and decide if it describes you.

Nice to have but not essential

It would be great if you tick some of these boxes too (but we will not hold it against you if you don’t).

  • Previous delivery driving or hospitality experience.
  • Fish and Chip Shop experience
  • Experience of working in the holiday sector

What we can offer you

Enjoy some great benefits, including:

  • Training & development
  • Personalised uniform
  • Regular incentives and rewards
  • Discounted holidays across all our parks
