About the role

We are looking for a Team Leader to join us in our Pub here at Tattershall Lakes. 

In the summer months our garden terrace is the perfect place for a bite to eat, a refreshing pint or even a bottle of wine! Whilst in the winter months our large yet cosy bar offers a comfortable retreat to enjoy a frothy coffee or a tipple with friends.

The contemporary restaurant with its themed areas “the library” and “the mysterious ladies hat room” offers comfort and intrigue and we are proud that many customers compliment us on such eye-catching designs.

What you will be doing

We need someone who understands that a first-class guest experience is an essential part of their stay at Tattershall Lakes. Here are some of the things you will be doing:

• Generally making sure everybody is having a great time.
• Ensuring team are all looking after our guests.
• Cashing up at the end of shifts.
• Opening up or closing down of the facility.
• Ensuring restocking at the end of a shift.
• Complying with all the legal requirements.

And who knows what else you may find yourself doing. If you are happy to help even when it is ‘not your job,’ you are our sort of person.

Skills, experience, and qualities you will need

We have high standards! We will train you up, but it would be nice if you had:

• Have customer service experience and skills.
• Relish the fast pace of a busy bar.
• Must be over 18 due to licensing laws.
• Be someone who does things without needing to be asked.
• Be a people person; easy to talk to and never happy until your guests are.
• Have experience of working in a team

Experience is not necessary but preferred, full training will be provided.

A can-do attitude, attention to detail and excellent people skills are essential. Being available to work evenings and weekends including bank holidays are also essential.

• Experience of working in a bar, restaurant, or pub
• Experience of working in the holiday sector
