What we need in a nutshell

We want our touring guests’ facilities to be so clean that it sparkles.  So clean that when guests walk through the doors, we can hear them say “Wow!”

Are you a self-motivated individual with high standards and a sharp eye for detail? We are looking for hard-working Touring and Venue Cleaners to join our team for the busy holiday season.

As a Holiday Hero, you will be the backbone of our guest experience. You will keep our resort spaces spick and span day and night. This is a hands-on, wide-covering role perfect for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys staying active.

Who we are?

We’re a dynamic and growing company, shaking up the Great British holiday at our award-winning UK resorts. St. Ives Bay Beach Resort has private access to three miles of sandy beach, spectacular sea views, luxury accommodation and excellent facilities, making it one of the best holiday parks in Cornwall and a great place to work. Want to find out more about our holidays? Check out our website: http://www.awayresorts.co.uk

What you’ll be doing

Working as part of our slightly bonkers team of holiday heroes, you will be cleaning and preparing our facilities to our high, high standards – and then a little bit higher! This includes:

  • Carry out general and deep cleaning across venue spaces and touring areas.
  • Respond quickly to on-the-spot cleaning needs during operating hours.
  • Complete weekly remedial cleaning and essential late-night close-down tasks.
  • Work independently and unsupervised to hold down the fort during later shifts.

And who knows what else you may find yourself doing. As long as you’re happy to help even when it’s ‘not your job,’ you’re our sort of person.

One more thing…holidays happen at holiday times, so you will need to work your magic on bank holidays too.

Skills, experience and qualities you’ll need

We’ll provide training, but you must:

  • High cleaning standards and great attention to detail.
  • Excellent self-motivation and the ability to work independently.
  • A strong team player attitude, even when working solo.
  • A driving licence is a great benefit but not essential (the resort can be covered on foot).

Nice to have but not essential

It would be great if you tick some of these boxes too (but we won’t hold it against you if you don’t).

  • Experience of cleaning
  • Experience of working as part of a team
  • Experience in the hospitality sector

What we can offer you

We look after you with a great range of benefits, including:

  • Awards and Recognition
  • Team events
  • Employee assistant programme
  • On Park Discounts
  • Discounts on Away Resorts Holidays for yourself, friends and family
