Food & Beverage Assistant

Location: Appletree Holiday Park

Hours: Up to 40 hours per week - Evenings & Weekends Required

Salary: £11.44 per hour; Variable seasonal contract

What we need in a nutshell

We need a food & beverage assistant who understand that food and drink are central to a happy holiday. Someone who can look after our guests’ every whim when they eat, drink and relax in our bars and restaurants. We are looking for someone who will greet our guests with a smile, be confident serving on the bar and delivering amazing tasting dishes to the tables of our customers. Due to the nature of the role we do require you to be 18+

Who are we

Complete with 150-acres, Appletree Holiday Park is nestled in a naturally beautiful setting surrounded by wildlife and outstanding grounds, located in the beautiful Lincolnshire countryside.

What you will be doing

We need someone who understands that food and drink are central to a happy holiday. Someone who can look after our guests’ every whim when they eat, drink, and relax in our bars and restaurants.

• Meeting and greetings guests with a friendly welcome
• Serving behind the bar and taking orders in the restaurant
• Keeping your area clean, tidy, and well-stocked
• Generally making sure everybody is having a great time

And who knows what else you may find yourself doing. If you are happy to help even when it is ‘not your job,’ you are our sort of person.

Skills, experience, and qualities you will need

We have high standards! We will train you up, but you must:

• Have customer service experience and skills
• Relish the fast pace of a busy bar
• Be someone who does things without needing to be asked
• Be a people person; easy to talk to and never happy until your guests are
• Have experience of working in a team

Nice to have but not essential

It would be great if you tick some of these boxes too (but we will not hold it against you if you don’t).

• Experience of working in restaurant or pub (on the busy nights!)
• Experience of working in the holiday sector
