What we need in a nutshell

We are looking for a Senior People Partner to support our North Region during a 12-month maternity cover.  Working closely with the Head of People Partnering, Regional Operations Director and General Managers you will act as a trusted partner to operational leaders, helping them bring our People strategy to life across the parks. While also guiding and mentoring a small team.

You will play a key role in strengthening leadership capability, guiding workforce planning and ensuring our People practices create positive experiences for our teams while supporting strong operational performance.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Partner with the Head of People Partnering and Regional Operations Director to embed our People strategy across the North Region
  • Support operational leaders with workforce planning, recruitment, engagement, and retention initiatives
  • Provide guidance on employee relations matters
  • Support the growth and development of a small team
  • Champion reward and recognition initiatives that help build motivated and engaged teams
  • Support succession planning and talent development to ensure key roles are future ready
  • Use insight and feedback to help continuously improve our People initiatives and practices
  • Work closely with General Managers to create a positive, supportive culture where teams feel valued and able to grow

Skills, experience, and qualities you’ll need:

  • Experience operating in a Senior People Partnering role with exposure to leading and supporting others
  • Confident supporting leaders and teams with a range of employee relations matters
  • Ability to translate People strategy into practical action within operational teams
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with confidence partnering and influencing senior operational leaders
  • Good commercial awareness balancing people priorities with operational outcomes
  • A pragmatic, solutions-focused approach with the ability to communicate clearly
