Hours of work: 40 hours per week

Salary: £30,000 per annum

We are looking for a Food & Beverage Manager to lead one of the most exciting hospitality operations in the area. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to use their knowledge, experience and ideas to manage all aspects of the revenue generation and cost control.

Appletree Country Park is one of Lincolnshire's most exciting destinations, combining luxury holiday homes between holidays and ownership with outstanding facilities. What you’ll be doing?

We are looking for a Food & Beverage Manager that can create an environment where a team thrives and our guests can sit back and take away memories that will last a lifetime; whilst still having an analytical mind that can process KPI's and drive the right behaviour though standards and leading the way.

• Manage, lead, train, and motivate a team to deliver delight
• Oversee the smooth running of the bar and restaurant, the preparation for service, as well as overseeing service and supervising the after-service duties.
• Maximise sales whilst driving profitable growth with care and flair
• Carry out regular stock takes and orders, as necessary.
• Handle deliveries and ensure health and safety regulations are always enforced
• The preparation and management of budgets for resources on the park, to deliver annual profit targets in food and beverage, arcade and vending
• Identifying and maximising business opportunities
• Monitoring and maintaining cost controls to create efficiencies across the business
• Managing the development, coaching and performance of the Food & Beverage and Retail teams, promoting the Holiday Heroes culture that makes our holiday park a great place to work
• Helping to deliver the highest level of guest experience to all our guests and owners
• Developing close working relationships with the other managers on the park as well as other areas of the business, gaining an understanding of what drives their side of the business and how you can help them with commercial information

One more thing…holidays happen at holiday times, so you will need to work your magic on bank holidays too.

Skills, experience and qualities you’ll need

• ·        Have previous management experience in an F&B environment
• ·        Have excellent knowledge of industry trends
• ·        Have superb people management skills
• ·        Have an eye for detail, a head for business and a mindset for innovation
• ·        Know your profit and loss from your balance sheet and be able to control costs and grow profit
• ·        Have knowledge and experience of catering and its many challenges
• ·        Have energy, enthusiasm and a positive attitude
