If you’re going to be a retail assistant, there’s nowhere better to do it than on a holiday park, where you can help to deliver delight to guests as they do their holiday shopping. Here at East Fleet Farm we also offer one of the largest camping and caravan shops in the area.

Away Resorts is shaking up the Great British holiday. Our East Fleet Farm site is a stunning park overlooking the Fleet Lagoon. Situated at the heart of our 200 acre organic farm, you can pitch your tent, motorhome or caravan in one of the most beautiful settings

What you’ll be doing

Working in our onsite shop, you will be delivering customer service that exceeds expectations and keeping the retail space well-maintained and inviting to guests. This includes:

  • Serving customers and helping them to find what they need, ensuring you have knowledge of all the products in the shop, from the coffee and tea to the cuddly toys.
  • Helping to take in deliveries and putting stock onto shelves
  • Ensuring the shop is friendly and well-presented so that is a place that guests enjoy visiting
  • Supporting team members on other areas of the park whenever you are needed

One more thing…holidays happen at holiday times so you’ll need to work your magic on bank holidays and weekends too.

Skills, experience and qualities you’ll need

This is the job for you if you have a positive attitude and can demonstrate that you are:

  • Helpful, inclusive and can work well as part of a team
  • Able to adjust your approach so that every customer gets the best possible service
  • Self-motivated and proactive – doing what needs doing without being asked
  • A good listener and communicator.
  • Able to plan and prioritise daily tasks and identify where improvements can be made

It’s the icing on the cake if you experience of working on a holiday park but don’t worry if you don’t, we provide lots of training.
