Away Resorts are shaking up the industry and setting the new standards for what to expect from a UK Holiday Park.  With 27 parks and resorts around the UK now, our Flagship Resort Tattershall Lakes, is jaw dropping not only in its size but also what it offers our Guests.

We’re looking for a Stack & Stores Team Leader working across our entire Food and Beverage and retail operation. The ideal person for this role will be highly self-motivated, an excellent communicator across departments with a high level of organisational skills with an eye for detail.

Some of the background

Based at the beautiful Tattershall Lakes, our operation across the last few years has grown and grown. We have 7 Food and Beverage Venues and an onsite Retail Shop, offering a variety of different menus and offerings. The Spitfire bar and Restaurant, The Propeller Bar and Restaurant, The Tattershall Park Pub, Bar 49 Rooftop Cocktail Bar, Giggling Goose Gin Bar, Outdoor Catering which offers a variety of modular units and large entertainment tent and Catch 22, our fish and chip shop.

What we are looking for

Working across our entire Food and Beverage operation. The ideal person for this role will be highly self-motivated, an excellent communicator across department with a high level of organisational skills with an eye for detail.

One more thing…holidays happen at holiday times and eating and drinking goes on in into the night, so you’ll need to work your magic on bank holidays, evenings and weekends too.

Skills, experience and qualities you’ll need

We have high standards! We’ll train you up, but you must have:

• Experience of a similar role
• Ability to communicate confidently
• A good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Web Based systems.
• Relish the fast pace of a busy bar or restaurant

What you’ll be doing

As part of our team of Holiday Hero’s, your role will be to ensure that our guests are always able to enjoy a full range of fresh and appealing products. This will be done through Assisting the Food & Beverage Managers and Kitchen Managers with effective stock controls, stocktaking and stock on hand. This will include:

• Assisting in stocktaking – Ensuring stock areas are organised, clean and tidy with all areas stock rotated
• Ordering and Deliveries - checking off orders. Ensuring all deliveries are accepted with claims for credit raised as needed.
• Stock Movements – Assisting the Food and Beverage team with stock movements and deliveries; and ensuring all movements are recorded accurately.
• Inputting and receiving in orders and deliveries on a web-based EPOS system
• And who knows what else you may find yourself doing. If you’re happy to help even when it’s ‘not your job,’ you’re our sort of person.

Skills, experience and qualities you’ll need.

• Knowledge of a similar role
• Ability to communicate confidently.
