We are looking for a Night Warden you will be keeping our holiday makers secure as well as helping them out when they need assistance.

What you’ll be doing

Reporting to the Guest Experience Manager, you will be the go to person throughout the evening for our guests. You will need to develop your knowledge of the park to enable you to deal with a wide range of situations

You will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our park throughout your shift, ensuring all guests are acting in an appropriate manner.

You will be very hands on liaising with all departments on park from F&B to Leisure to Accommodation to ensure our operation is running as efficiently as possible. Personality is key, you will be dealing with team and guests confidently throughout your shifts.

Key responsibilities:

  • Dealing with general enquiries this could cover a whole spectrum of the Parks operation so a willingness to learn is key
  • Dealing with complaints by finding the right solution for the Guests to enable them to enjoy the rest of their stay
  • Ensuring all areas are locked up at the correct times so we are safe and secure
  • Patrolling the park being vigilant for suspicious activity
  • Ensuring all areas of our operation are always running smoothly liaising with departmental managers where appropriate
  • Completing a nightly report for AM managers to follow up on any issues in their areas
  • You will be responsible for all fire alarms, first aid accidents and any other incidents. You must ensure the situation is managed correctly and all paperwork is completed.

Skills, experience and qualities you’ll need

We’ll provide training, but you must:

  • Basic computer skills
  • Experience working within a customer facing role
  • Works well under pressure…a good communicator too
  • Customer focused…Friendly & helpful attitude
  • Calm and methodical character but of strong character…this is a busy place!
  • Attention to detail even little ones and high standards
  • The ability to lead a team and deal with difficult situations, think on your feet.
  • 1 years experience in a similar role is desired.
  • SIA badge preferred, although should you not hold this you will need to be willing to undertake a course which we will arrange.
