What we need, in a nutshell:

We’re on the hunt for a standout Commercial Director to lead our Holiday Home Sales function into its next chapter of success. You’ll be setting the strategy and growing the business with style. This is a powerhouse role for someone who is ready to shake things up across our incredible holiday home ownership portfolio.

Who are we?

We are a dynamic and growing company, shaking up the Great British holiday. With 27 amazing UK resorts, we pull out all the stops and add the bells and whistles to give our guests the holiday of a lifetime.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Shape and deliver the HHS pricing strategy, optimises margins and product mix, managing stock and unlock new markets
  • Work with the Head of Marketing to seamlessly blend pricing and marketing strategies to maximise returns and ensure consistent trading performance
  • Know your stuff inside out when it comes to the HHS market, customer needs, competitor moves, and golden opportunities across our locations
  • Taking ownership of the annual HHS business plan, by covering data, insights, promotions, pricing, compensation and workforce planning
  • Leading the charge with selection and optimisation of the right digital sales tools, CRM workflows, and platforms for the sales team
  • Ensure we’re playing by the rules, and all HHS sales activities meet FCA guidance
  • Build solid business cases to drive ROI, optimises stock and pitch revenue, and increase market share.

Skills, experience and qualities you’ll need:

  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills
  • High level of commerciality 
  • Effective influencing skills
  • Ability to lead a team and inspire teams to success 
  • Experienced operator at C-Suite, or HiPo SLT member level
  • Experience in a muti-site operational business
  • Experience of creating and executing a sales strategy
  • Ability to engage colleagues at all levels of the organisation. Helping colleagues vertically and horizontally to understand the strategic HHS agenda.
  • Ability to assess market conditions and make commercial recommendations that drive sales growth and margin.
  • Will be a driver of change and will continuously looking for ways to address challenges creatively with an entrepreneurial spirit.

It’s the icing on the cake, but not essential if you have experience in the leisure and hospitality sector.
