Group Sales and Partnership Manager

What we need, in a nutshell:
A commercially driven sales leader to grow our corporate, group, and partnership business across 27 UK resorts. You will lead the strategic development and delivery of Away Resorts group and partnership sales approach — increasing occupancy during off-peak periods, securing new business, nurturing long-term partnerships, and managing a high-performing sales team to deliver consistent revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:
- Own and deliver the group sales and partnership strategy, aligned with commercial goals.
- Lead, coach, and develop a dynamic sales team.
- Grow revenue by identifying and converting new B2B opportunities, including corporate groups, special interest groups, third-party sellers, and partnerships.
- Nurture and expand existing relationships to increase repeat bookings and long-term loyalty.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Revenue, Marketing, and Park Teams to align on pricing strategy, availability, and messaging.
- Use data (Salesforce, Power BI, ParcVu) to provide insight, forecasts, and reporting that shape decisions.
- Create seasonal and targeted campaigns to drive bookings in off-peak windows.
- Ensure seamless operational handover of group bookings to park teams, maintaining high standards of delivery through close collaboration and clear communication.
- Represent Away Resorts confidently in person — attending park visits, client meetings, trade shows, and networking events to develop trusted relationships and drive new business.
- Work in close partnership with park operational teams to ensure every group and event booking is delivered smoothly, meeting both guest expectations and brand standards.
Skills, experience and qualities you will need:
- Has proven experience in sales leadership roles, ideally within hospitality, travel, or events.
- Has a track record of driving new business, closing high-value sales, and building profitable B2B relationships.
- Can lead and inspire a team to exceed sales targets.
- Commercially focused and adept at leveraging data to inform strategy
- Is an excellent communicator and relationship-builder — with confidence networking at all levels.
- Can manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Results-oriented with a hands-on, proactive attitude
- It's a bonus if you have a strong network in corporate travel, events or hospitality sector
