The Role

The role of an Account Director will work at a strategic level, driving partnerships with ideal Customers. Working at a senior level, both internally and within Customer environments the Account Director will identify ways of transforming outcomes through technology. You must be confident in your ability to achieve and exceed a target fitting of this role, and be able to appreciate and embed yourself within CAEs culture.

You will be a proven over achiever, with a strong understanding of CAE’s core product set. A self-starter with a track record of building and maintaining a strong network of relationships, with both company and customer. You must be confident in your ability to achieve and exceed a target fitting of a position, and be able to appreciate and embed yourself within the company culture.

This role would suit a candidate with Health Care or Local Government experience

 

Key Responsibilities & Duties ·

  • Develop and win new clients to achieve sales targets as set by the business.
  • Identifying growth opportunities within new/existing customer base, working with internal and customer stakeholders to drive sales opportunities for solutions and managed services.
  • Developing and progressing pipeline activities across all solutions to secure new orders and contract renewals.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with Strategic Partners sales teams to grow CAE relationship stature, lead generation and co-sales opportunities
  • Supporting delivery and execution of regular campaigns to stimulate leads and opportunities.
  • Crafting sales proposals that articulate the compelling business case and delivering presentations that position CAE to win.
  • In addition to your key responsibilities and duties you will be expected to entail training, both within and outside of CAE, covering sales skills and Vendor solutions. You will be expected to attend and pass vendor training and accreditation courses.

 

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Extensive experience within a reseller or solutions provider
  • A history of achieving and overachieving targets, of 700k+ Gross Profit
  • The ability to build effective and constructive relationships with both technology vendors and distribution partners.
  • Experience in leading formal negotiations to achieve successful outcomes for large value transactions
  • Proven ability to control costs to in line with project and budgetary expectations.
  • Be able to build, maintain and articulate a sales forecast for month, quarter and year.
  • Highly developed networking, relationship and interpersonal skills.
  • Great presentation skills with the ability to persuade and influence.
  • Understand and appreciate our competitors and their strategy.

Required Knowledge & Experience

  • Good understanding and knowledge of MS
  • Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Salesforce ·
  • Experienced in applying strategic account and campaign planning methodologies to
  • achieve continuous revenue growth.
  • Excellent oral and written communication.
  • Authoritative presentation ability.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
