Membership Officer

CCHQ are recruiting for an organised and efficient Membership Officer to join their Membership Team in the CCHQ Marketing Department in Leeds.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Membership Team and continue our successful membership recruitment and retention work. This role would suit an individual with excellent customer service and administration skills, initiative, and creative flair.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the wider Marketing Department to raise Party revenue and provide first class communication to members
  • Manage member correspondence
  • Improve member engagement through production of compelling content
  • Provide guidance and assistance to local Conservative associations on membership queries and member acquisition
  • Short term secondments to the wider Marketing team
  • Plan and implement new marketing initiatives to increase acquisition and reduce churn
  • Project management
  • Any other duties as may be deemed necessary to support the department

Your Professional Experience:

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Confident user of Microsoft Excel
  • An excellent and effective communicator with exemplary written and verbal communication skills
  • Good team player
  • A hands-on approach and self-starter
  • Plenty of initiative and drive
  • Creative thinker
  • Self-motivated, flexible and able to work autonomously
  • Calm under pressure and able to work to short deadlines
  • High degree of flexibility to manage multiple competing tasks
  • Sympathetic to the aims and values of the UK's oldest and most successful political Party
