Hot Tub Engineer

HOT TUB ENGINEER | €14.19 per hour

We are looking to recruit a Maintenance Operative to look after the hot tubs on our village. The role involves responsibility for the efficient operation of the hot tubs located at our exclusive lodges, including water quality testing, monitoring chemical levels, replacing the water twice a week and cleaning and general / preventative planned maintenance repairs to the hot tubs as required.

Other responsibilities will include replenishing stock, tidying company vehicles, providing assistance to the Stores Controller in unpacking goods and assisting the Maintenance Technicians to ensure efficient operation of all general buildings, lodges and other equipment.

The successful candidate will be naturally cheerful and enjoy working as part of a team. You must be proactive, organised and have a methodical approach to work and possess a willingness to learn new skills.

HOURS OF WORK

You will be contracted to work 150 hours per 4-week period on a flexible basis. This means that your days and hours of work could vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period.

As our village is open 365 days of the year, your working hours will include public / bank holidays and during Christmas and / or New Year on a rota basis with a premium rate of pay for hours worked on a Sunday.

ABOUT YOU

Essential requirements:

  • Practical working knowledge and experience in general maintenance
  • Attention to detail
  • Full Driving Licence
  • Good level of written and spoken English
  • Good basic DIY skills and willingness to learn new skills

Desirable requirements:

  • PWTAG accredited Pool Plant Operators Course
  • Previous experience of working with Hot Tubs would be advantageous
