Be the difference between guests experiencing a good break and a great break at Center Parcs.

The Guest Services team handle the check-in of around 4,000 guests twice a week at each Village and are the key point of contact for guest queries, concerns, and issues at any time of day or year. Each Guest Services team is integral to delivering an experience that will exceed guests’ expectations, from the moment they drive into Center Parcs, until the moment they leave.

LAND TRAIN DRIVER | £11.60 per hour

We are looking for a Driver to drive the land train which transports our guests around the site. The land train can take up to 60 guests and drives on a designated circuit which covers all the main locations of the village. Drivers may have to assist families and the less abled on / off the train.

The role requires a professional but outgoing approach, accompanied with enthusiasm at all times and a passion to deliver customer satisfaction.

Due to the sensitive nature of this role the successful applicant will be required to undergo an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly CRB) with Child List Barring Check. This disclosure, together with other selection information, will need to be satisfactory to the Company for employment to commence.

HOURS OF WORK

You will be contracted to work 64 hours per 4-week period on a flexible basis. This means that your days and hours of work could vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period.

As our village is open 365 days of the year, your working hours will include weekends, public / bank holidays and during Christmas and / or New Year on a rota basis.

ABOUT YOU

Good customer service and a positive helpful attitude is a must. A basic understand of mechanics would be beneficial as the driver is responsible for completing a daily check sheet of the train and reporting any faults found through to management.

Essential requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence
  • Over 21 years old (due to the minimum age required to drive a land train)

Desirable requirements:

  • Basic mechanical knowledge
  • Previous driving experience
  • Excellent people skills
  • Strong attention to detail
