Salary/Hourly Rate: £11.60 per hour rising to £12.27 per hour once qualified.

Contract Type: Flexible hours over a 4 - week period

Maintenance Operative

From fixing faults to replacing items, joining our Technical Services team means you can be a superhero for families during their break. The dedicated team provide a speedy response to any service breakdown while delivering excellent care, so our guests can relax knowing they’re being taken care of.  

MAINTENANCE OPERATIVE 

We are looking to recruit a Maintenance Operative to join our busy Technical Services Team.

Responsibilities will include: 

  • Attending call outs to guest accommodation as well as the on-site guest and staff facilities
  • Carrying out and completing tasks and resolving maintenance issues
  • Ensuring that any work not completed is communicated via a shift book and/or job sheet
  • Consulting with the Technical Services Management Team on work issues which may cause future problems
  • Carrying out general maintenance and planned preventative maintenance tasks as required
  • Rectifying any health and safety issues 

Excellent communication skills are required, along with practical working knowledge and experience in general maintenance. 

HOURS OF WORK

You will be contracted to work 160 hours per 4-week period on a flexible basis. This means that your days and hours of work could vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period.

As our village is open 365 days of the year, your working hours will include public / bank holidays and during Christmas and / or New Year on a rota basis.

ABOUT YOU 

Essential requirements: 

  • Practical working knowledge and experience in general maintenance
  • Attention to detail
  • Full Driving Licence 

Desirable requirements: 

  • ISRM qualification (National Spa Pool Plant Operators certificate) (UK) / PWTAG accredited Pool Plant Operators Course
  • NVQ qualification or equivalent (UK) / NFQ award in a Construction or Engineering trade or equivalent (IRE)
  • PAT testing C&G 2377 (UK only)
