CONTACT CENTRE AGENT | £11.60 per hour

Please note this is a fixed-term contract until 9th March 2025.

Hybrid role with on average 3 days office-based and 2 days home working.

As a Contact Centre Agent, you will be the first point of contact for prospective guests, you’ll be an ambassador for the business, setting the scene and standards for things to come.…and that’s why it’s essential we get it right first time.

Handling incoming calls for bookings and enquiries, with a focus on the up-selling of our products and services, we’ll expect you to quickly establish strong relationships and be capable of delivering a first-class service that’s fully reflective of our status and reputation.

Previous webchat experience is desirable but not essential.

These are key frontline roles, ideally suited to proven performers from a similar contact centre or customer service background. If you enjoy speaking to people and have excellent customer service experience, then apply now.

Full training will be provided for this role.

Successful candidates should be able to complete the following training programme, which will take place at our Head Office in New Ollerton:

Monday 25th November 2024 for 2 weeks – training will be full-time between the hours of 9am and 5.30pm, Monday to Friday. Once the 2-week training programme is complete, you will revert to your chosen contracted hours but will remain working at Head Office for a further 2 weeks, or until you have reached a satisfactory level, where you will then become hybrid.

Please note that the Contact Centre will be closed for the Christmas period on:

  • Wednesday 25th December 2024
  • Thursday 26th December 2024
  • Wednesday 1st January 2025

HOURS OF WORK

Please note this is a fixed-term contract until 9th March 2025.

We have both part-time and full-time opportunities available as follows:

  • 5 x 8-hour shifts per week – total 40 hours per week
  • 5 x 6-hour shifts per week – total 30 hours per week
  • 5 x 5-hour shifts per week – total 25 hours per week
  • 5 x 4-hour shifts per week – total 20 hours per week

Whilst your hours of work will be fixed between the hours of 8.30am and 9pm, your days of work will be allocated on a flexible basis, which means that your days of work will vary each week. Your working hours will include some weekends and public / bank holidays on a rota basis.

Please note, this role will be hybrid with a mixture of office-based and homeworking.

ABOUT YOU

Essential requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A high standard of spelling and grammar
  • PC literate with fast and accurate keyboard skills
  • Previous experience of working within a sales / customer service / contact centre role
  • The ability to work effectively when under pressure
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic

Desirable requirements:

  • Webchat experience
