PPC & SEO SPECIALIST | Circa £40,000 per annum

Hybrid role with both office and home-working

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Digital team as PPC & SEO Specialist.

Reporting to the Paid Media Manager, you will be responsible, together with our external agency, for driving the PPC and SEO strategy for Center Parcs UK & Ireland, Aqua Sana UK & Ireland and our Corporate Events business; to deliver against our targets and objectives, but ultimately to maximise bookings and budget efficiency.

Keeping up to date with industry trends, innovations and algorithm updates, you will optimise our PPC activity and on and offsite SEO strategies to ensure continual improvements to ultimately maximise bookings and ROI efficiency.  You will also help to devise and implement annual test plans to ensure that PPC and SEO are effective channels, whilst continuing to take advantage of new innovations and updates.

This is a data driven role, where you will use analytics tools such as Google Adwords, Looker Studio, SEMrush, Screaming Frog & Adobe Analytics to evaluate, analyse and improve performance.  You will also work with the digital experience team and our copy writers to create content/landing pages and make technical changes that will boost organic and paid traffic on our website.  Therefore, it is essential that the successful candidate has previous experience managing a paid search account, as well as devising on and offsite SEO strategies, demonstrating continual improvement for identified keywords; ensuring that PPC and organic search are effective channels for Center Parcs, Aqua Sana and B2B, across both markets.

HOURS OF WORK

You will be contracted to work 150 hours per 4-week period (37.5 hours per week). Normal working hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. However, dynamic working is available whereby the earliest start time is 7am and the latest finish time is 7pm.

Please note, this role will be hybrid with a mixture of office-based and home-working.

ABOUT YOU

Essential requirements:

  • Strong numeracy skills with an analytical approach and an ability to pick relevant details out of large amounts of information. Including understanding of data attribution and the role channels plays within it.  
  • Ability to create new copy & ad extensions that adhere to brand guidelines and maintain industry best practice
  • Able to demonstrate an ability to learn tools quickly, understand complex equations and formulae have an inquisitive mind and ability to problem solve with minimal assistance
  • Familiar with Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics and other digital analytics reporting suites
  • Able to present data & insight a concise and confident manor to influence decisions
  • Minimum of degree level education in marketing / business and / or previous experience in a large-scale SEO and PPC management role
  • Previous experience managing & optimising Google AdWords accounts and Familiar with Google Search Console and other SEO tools such as SEMRush and Screaming Frog

Desirable requirements:

  • An understanding of good UX and knowledge of HTML/CSS and ideally Google certified
  • Budget management of greater than £100,000 annually
  • Experience within in a leisure or retail environment would be beneficial
