SENIOR DIGITAL USER EXPERIENCE EXECUTIVE (ACCOMMODATION) | £33,000 per annum

Hybrid role with 2 days office-based and 3 days home-working

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Digital Marketing team as Senior Digital User Experience Executive (Accommodation).

This role will support the Senior Digital User Experience Manager to further develop and manage the Center Parcs Accommodation, Corporate, ESG and Guest Services websites to create 'best in class' customer journeys; which drive customer satisfaction and ultimately increased conversion, average transaction value rates and revenue.

Key to the success of this role, will be conducting usability studies both online and in person, feeding learnings from this, Hotjar and analytics reports into a managed optimisation programme alongside the MVT Front End developer. In turn, you will then liaise with the Product Owner to feed the top performing into the new/redesigned features development cycle.

For all changes, you will ensure data, analytics and insight are at the heart. You will ensure measurability and results driven approaches are adopted, and you will report the performance and learnings to key stakeholders. You will also ensure that changes are optimised for accessibility and SEO.

The successful candidate will be user / guest focused with a good knowledge of UX principles. A good eye for website design is required along with experience of producing engaging copy. Strong attention to detail is required along with good oral and written communication skills and a good understanding of SEO. 

HOURS OF WORK

You will be contracted to work 150 hours per 4-week period (37.5 hours per week). Normal working hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. However, dynamic working is available whereby the earliest start time is 7am and the latest finish time is 7pm.

Please note, this role will be hybrid with 2 days office-based and 3 days home-working.

ABOUT YOU

Essential requirements:

  • User/guest focused with good knowledge of UX principles (content and user journeys, users research and A/B testing)
  • A good eye for website design, engaging copy and an understanding of SEO
  • Good oral and written English communication skills, with strong attention to detail
  • A strong understanding of what contributes to and passion to deliver a good user experience and how to ensure appropriate user journeys by target audience
  • Experience of using data analytics tools (preferably Adobe Analytics or Google analytics) and ability to interpret results and data
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills, with good oral and written English communication skills
  • Minimum of degree level education in marketing / business and / or previous relevant work experience in marketing / digital marketing
  • Strong understanding of content management systems, preferably Adobe Experience Manager
  • Be a team player, supporting colleagues to achieve the overall business goals and KPI’s
  • Be flexible, accommodating and responsive to deliver an excellent service
  • Speak positively about our people brand and products and take pride in what you do

Desirable requirements:

  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS, as well as awareness of accessibility principles
  • Track record of implemented features that work smoothly across devices and browsers
  • Moderated and remote user research
  • Stakeholder, people and project management
